Framing to Accentuate Your Interior Style

An original painting is the culmination of everything an artist has learnt, experienced and is experiencing all captured at a moment in time, this is what sets Fine Art apart from decoration. A collector knows this.

However, a piece of art can also be decorative, and that is no less important. A painting should enhance your home, world and bring happiness into your life and those you share it with.

I believe art should reflect your personality and bring harmony (and a touch of "wow") to your walls, and this is where mounting and framing and a touch of interior design can be so important.

When I frame my own work I am very deliberate in my choices. I try to find the right balance to show each piece in its best light. I like to choose the highest quality mounts (even though they can be expensive). I get fed up seeing the same generic Ikea frames everywhere, don't you? I like to work with a local artisan framer – who has many years of experience – and her insights into choosing the right materials, colour and type of frame have been invaluable.

I encourage all my customers to work with their own framer so they can choose something that will suit their interiors and personality but, if you need advice, I am always on hand to offer help and advice so you get a piece that your home will thank you for.

Warmest

Jennifer
